About the Lessons
When can I have a lesson? 
- I normally see people between 9am and 8.30 pm (Monday to Friday) and between 10 am and 6 pm on Saturdays. I can often give a lesson on Sundays.
- You can arrange a regular meeting time or fix one lesson at a time. Most people prefer to arrange one lesson at a time, but please note that it is then not always possible to give you a time which you most prefer, especially at short notice.
How often do I need to have a lesson?
- This depends on you
- If you are a complete beginner I advise you to have about 10 lessons on a weekly basis in order to make rapid progress.
- After that, adults usually come at longer intervals. Most of my adult students like to come every two weeks or once a month.
What happens if I miss a lesson?
Students sometimes find that they need to change or miss a lesson. This is not a problem: we just arrange another date.

What if I am late?
First, if you can, phone to let me know. If you are late, I can sometimes finish later, so that you get your full time. But you should not rely on this, as there are many occasions when I have to finish on time, because another student is coming or I am going on to work away from home.
What do I need to bring?
You can bring your own instrument or one will be provided. This is also true of amplification.
I provide all music, unless I advise you otherwise (this can happen when the cost of a book or piece of music is high).
